The Chicago Surf Club was established by the locals that surf the Middle Coast and for the locals. It was once a closely guarded secret kept by a small, tightly knit group of locals but now with the internet putting us all in one big line-up and the growing awareness of our waves on the Middle Coast, we want everyone to surf on in and be a local.

We've been around forever - or as long as anyone can remember anyway. For as long as there has been surfing on Lake Michigan, the surf club has been there organizing Chicago surfers, keeping them informed about changes in our local surfing related laws, hosting social events and sharing the photographs that are taken by our locals.

As the awareness of the Middle Coast's surf culture spreads across the internet and to shores in other parts of the world, we hope that a growth in membership will help bring us all together in one big line up to support and promote our sport of surfing.
